i have kept 5 B.ropbusta with 4 pairs of checkerboards before with no problems whatsoever.
they should all get along fine IMO

I have found that Dzihunia is from Russian, Dziunia = June (as in the month)

hi all
are skunk botias Yasuhikotakia morleti slow growers?
I purchased 4 skunks and 4 blue loaches Yasuhikotakia modesta 8 months ago, all were approx 1". the blues are now fast approaching 5" but the skunks are only 2".
both species are in the same tank and thus share the same amount of food ...

unfortunatly there is no sound as I forgot to turn that facility on
so you can't hear the very, very loud clicking that is going on, but you get the idea from the vid ...

If the mods at LOL want to use my research to add etomology to their species profiles, I have no problem with that

doing loaches only took a week or so
I'm now trying my hand at all tropical freshwater fish
so ...

Have you ever wondered what all these scientific names mean?
well wonder no more.
I have been researching these for the last few weeks and have come up with the following list.
These are all the 'loaches' that I could find info on
some still need a root and definition, so if anyone can help there ...

bloody streaks in the fins is an indication of septicemia (blood poisioning)

what are your water parameters?

I purchased him, along with a similar sized one, from someone whos tank developed a leak.
they are currently in a 48X15x18 but will be moved into a 54x18x30
when I return from holiday.

of all my clowns (9 in total) this one just looks odd to me.
