The relationships of the cobitoid loaches have been examined in a recent study and the familial placement of the genera Barbucca, Serpenticobitis and Vaillantella have been reassigned.

Chromobotia macracanthus, Syncrossus berdmorei, Botia rostrata, Botia histronica, Yasuhikotakia modesta, Yasuhikotakia morleti.

Yes thanks, we moderators know. Mark and I recently spent about 5 hours on the phone between Toronto and Vancouver editing a whole book to show the new nomenclature :roll:

Bit by bit we'll change anything that needs changing on LOL itself.
