Sure Graeme.. You could put it in the species index.

There is no method per se. When The Water Level is lower, the Riverbed on the sides is completely exposed and you have little streams, running along the sides of the river. You can use a regular aquarium net to catch them. They don't move away ...

hey Graeme... Check out the Common Spiny loach river!!! But I couldn't get any Spiny Loaches. The current in the water was really bad. One of the reservoirs had opened its gates causing the water level to go up. During summer its atleast 3 feet lower. Thats the best time to get 'em.

Its dark outside and there's no light by the pond. I couldn't find any of the clowns. So I was just snapping away. The Clowns usually like to hide under the driftwood (seen in the 7th pic. Its hollow with a lot of space inside'.

Yep.. thats right Graeme, thats how they hide. Sometimes they are completely covered except for the eyes(I guess that might be from the sand thats being washed over them when they're in the river). I was never able to find the bigger ones. The ones that I caught were about 2" - 2.5". The biggest one ...

Hello Emma,

Thats Right, whats happening now is that I remove about 50% of the water and then put in new water. Would it help If I removed around 10% each day ? I'm wondering if this can be a faster fix for the algae problem.

I'm planning to go to some of the stores here in Bangalore for a Pond ...

Im still trying to work my camera on manual mode. The Pics are out of focus mostly. Shall get better ones soon.

Tank is about 9.5' X 6' in area and its about 1.5' above the ground and 1.5 below the ground.
