Very cool!! They should do a lot better in there together instead of 3 different tanks. And, introducing them into a strange tank should avoid territorial issues. Oh Adam, don't let these woman push you around:):):) Just joking.

They are right in that the clowns can be hard on the plants, but it can be done. Especially adding CO2. 20ppm was always the recommended maximum. And once you get the plants bubbling, your oxygen levels will be very high. Again ...

Short answer no.

I mean it will have a small affect, but hardly worth the effort. You will have to constantlly recharge it in salt water. I mean they are a pain in the butt. By the time you get some of the hardness out of the tank you are doing a water change and right back to where you started ...
