I'm going to set up another 55 gallon here pretty soon as soon as my wife will let me have the money, she pays the bills so I have to be patient. I have 2 AC 110 filters and one is going on the other 55, it's on a 29 gallon at present time with 2 very small SAE's, aprox. 11 pygmy cory's and 1 cherry...

Yo Yo Loach question
I have 4 yo yo's in with 2 Angelfish at present time, the yo yo's are still quit small and are very playful most of the time and growing like a weed. My question is that I see the yo yo's swim up to the sides of the angelfish and nudge or do something and then swim off, is this playing for them or s...

The tank is a 55 gallon with 4 loaches in it. Reason why is that I've read (which doesn't make it true) that they have been noted to eat the eyes out of fish, I'm not sure if I belive this or not--that's why I was asking. They don't seem to bother the angelfish eventhough the angelfish is a teddy be...

Yo-yo growth
Do yo yo loaches grow pretty quick?, I bought mine about 3 weeks ago and they have already grown it seems at least a 1/4 inch each. Do they get aggressive as they get older?, I have 2 angelfish, and 5 black skirt tetras in the tank, they seem to bother the tetras or play with them every so often.

Have you ever thought about the dwarf chain loaches, they get about 2.5 inches in length and look pretty neat. Figure after getting some of the other fish out you could probably have a good number of these. I saw some over the weekend and they were 9.99 each, I am going to try and get 8-10 of them f...

Thanks for the reply I think I'll take the advise of you all and find something else for the tank. Would the dwarf chain loaches work O.K. in a 55 gallon tank?, and if so how many could I put into the tank. How many should be the minimum for this size of tank if I decide to go with them, I really li...

Putting dwarf chain loaches in a 29 gallon

Clown Loaches and salt
I just bought some lyretail mollies this Saturday and put them into my tank with my two tiny clown loaches, tiny rubbernose pleco and weatherloach, question is can I add salt or will it hurt and damage my pleco and loaches. I used to keep sailfin mollies as a child back in the 70's and used no salt ...

Keeping Clowns together
This is my first visit and I am very curious on keeping different sizes of loaches together. I have at present time a clown I've had for around 3 weeks which is about 1" long and doing great. He is in a 55 at the presesnt time with poolsand as the substrate, I am going to get 2 more this weekend eit...
