Here's a new photo, the spot is clearly darker than it was. And on the second clown there's a similar one, not so visible yet, but there it is.

I would be happy to relax, but it really looks more like some nasty problem with internal organs showing through skin. And after several days the spots had gotten darker

Thanks for the reply, chefkeith. That's exactly what we hoped it was. Nice to be sure he's ok.

So this morning one of the clowns showed up with many tiny pimples and holes on his nose. The spots seem to be the same color with his skin.
