Storing Food

For some reason my dojos are storing some of their food in a hole under a rock. Am I feeding them too much or what? I have a boy and a girl could it be a nest or somthing like that?

Long Dojo or Short

I just measured my dojos and they seem to be 4 in. long, is that long or short? Are they young or old? How much bigger will they get? They are as fat as my pinkie,how much fatter will they get?

Some loaches eat at the bottom some dont. Mine at first ate at the bottom until they got used to the tank they decided it was home and was comfortable. It just depends on the loach. :D

Dojo Food

I have some dojo loaches. I am not completly sure what they eat and how many times I should feed them. I dont want to feed them too much or make them sick by what I am feeding them.i have just been feeeding them fish food. What should I do?

did you let them get used to the tempature?
Give them something to eat.

That is sad and not right at all, why would you want to kill these interesting type of loaches. I wonder why they call them mud fish. I am never going to eat dojos.

To tell if it is a boy or a girl the boys have more of a triangular second fin and the girls have more rounder fin

Try ham it has a strong smell and my loaches love it, but make sure to cut it up, and put in sight.

Sometimes the golden kind is a light pink so it would be hard to tell but you could get on google images a nd try to look them up
