Dojo Loach

Post by StrangeSavant »

Today I purchased a dojo loach. The people at the pet store told me it was albino, but I am very distrusting and think it might just be a gold.

It's currently only about 3-4 inches long. Is there any way to really tell the two apart or am I going to have to take the store's word for it?

The improved product species of Dojo.
It's called "Hi-Dojo" in Japan.
"Hi" means orange from yellow.
There is width in the deepness of the color.

Its eyes are grey.... definitely looks like the smaller of those two loaches pictured.
