I wish that here in Australia the issue was the price. Here it is availability and government regulations on imports which means that even Striata (when they slip through the net) cost AU$80+

I dont thing these will ever be seen here....

Gary - Been around for a while, just dont post much, thanks for the welcome. I was adding clorinated water directly at 4l/h into 1000l. Now the incoming water is r/o. The chlorine never caused an issue but the tap water was +-400 TDS and all the fish are preferring the r/o water.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but 3 german degrees is roughly 53 TDS??

Will reduce hardness gradually as suggested.

Help with RO

Hi All

Have just ordered myself a RO unit. Its on this page..

under the Aquarium heading (PSI-020A).

I went for this unit as it has dual TDS meters and a bypass valve to mix RO and filtered water together to get desired TDS.

My question is ...

Firstly, when I divide 2018 by 44 I get 45.863636...

Perhaps 304 is a bit optimistic...

Secondly, are you sure of the output? On the 240v models the new model 70 (replacing the 802) flows:-

- Output without air: 1514 L / 400 U.S. Gal. per hour
- Output with air: 1317 L / 348 U.S. Gal. per ...
