Tankmate's for Geo's

I just upgraded to a 100gal tank and with just the 2 geo's and 2 luecosticta's it looks empty. Does anyone have any suggestions for middle to upper level fish that will not be aggressive to the geo's. I would prefer something with a little color, i was considering Blue German Rams but i was worried ...

Thank you Matt, i will get them some veggie matter in thier diet. I was told people feed this to tropheus which they are almost all veggie diet(or at least people think) so i'm surprised it isn't enough for them. Well i hope the Geo's and satanoperca's will be ok together because i really dont want ...

Well thank you for the response, i wish i would have got more but when i purshased all of these they were the only ones in the lfs tank. The satanoperca's were first and it was going to be only them but i ran into these other two by themselves, so i figured they would be ok or at least better then t...

Satanoperca's

Not sure if this is better ask in a Cichlid forum but since i dont belong to any, i figured someone here might have experience with these fish. I have two Satanoperca leucosticta, 1x Geophagus colombian and 1x Geophagus pindare. The Pindare seems to be causing most of the aggression issues and he wa...

My 75 gal tank only has 4 vertical supports, this tv stand has 6 and is half the height of it as well. The floor under the tank would be a thin layer of carpet but under that is cement, so that should'nt be an issue. I would just hate to have it give way while at work, just for trying to be cheap.

Will it hold the weight

I have a 90 gallon tank that i am trying to avoid buying a stand for, but i have a very sturdy Sauder tv stand that is 6x2. i stood on the weakest part of it and it did not even sqeak as i am by no means light (320lbs) but thats only a third of the wieght for a stocked 90. Just thought someone on he...

I did try the blanched zuchini and she didnt touch it, I'll try something a little meatier. I thought she might have been fed live but i would rather not do that unless its a must to keep her alive. Just don't want to have to kill another fish just to feed one, i know its natural and all, but it's n...

Red Devil Cichlid

I just became the owner of a Red Devil, she is about 7 inches and i have had her for about a week and a half. She is not wanting to eat though, when i got her she was kept in a 20 gal tank which was way to small and i felt bad for her so i emptied out my 36 gal to bring her home and then i did some ...
