Hi again, were just about to do a 40% water change and clean the filter sponges too. Should we vac the gravel thouroughly too or will that do harm? Or should we just do the top layer? He's not looking good today-worse than ever. We put courguette in sometimes and feed flake, live and frozen food too...

Thanks for that shari2- we havent actually seen her eat but never do really, she tends to do it when we're not watching! All other behaviour is ok apart from the fact she is "awake" much more as she cant fit into her usual hiding place. We've made her aother under a slate but she doesnt like it much...

Hi, I posted on here on 5th August when my yoy loach became very bloated. This still hasn't got any better. Thank you for that. If we were to introduce other yo yos to the tank wouldnt we run the risk of her getting aggressive? I've done a search on the old forums and it looks exactly like a gravid loach (someone posted better pics than me!) If she's a she, might there be problems if she doesn't get rid of the eggs? We dont have any other loaches so theres no chance of her being fertile. No red patches or slime- just that ...
