Well, the way this 4in dojo is going, he's gonna have a ten inch belly..lol.

He's the first one to the top of the tank the second that flakes hit the water.

I've seen him completely submerged under the substrate and its like feeding frenzy when the first flake hits the water. He's shed his skin ...

My crayfish was safe with my weatherloach for a week or so. My brother's shrimp is HUGE and all the fish won't mess with it, either. Including my weather loach.

Looks like it's spreading to my other fish. I put three fungi tablets in, and it turned my water bluish. I hope that's normal. Anyways, how long should this take? My fish can't even move anymore. He's just breathing.

This is not my week...

First I lost Rarity to some unknown seizure causing suicide happening, now my biggest weather loach might be sick. There's white fuzz covering him, and it doesn't look like ich.

Weather Loaches: Questions

How many weather loaches can I fit in a 30-32 gallon tank(don't know exact size). My 30 gallon is virtually empty now that the plecos are dead, the pacus have been given away, my goldfish is living happily with my brother's goldfish, and my algea eater is chilling with the pufferfish in my 10g.

Thanks to everyone who tried to help, but I came back from school to find a lifeless orange weatherloach. I flushed her, said a few prayers, and cleaned the water out some.

Melafix does cause this kind of reaction in kuhlis. In fact, I used it to make kuhli swim so I could catch them...

Again, in kuhlis, such a large water change will often cause excessive swimming as the fish adjusts. Suspect the same is with dojos. Unless the fish hurts itself, it should slow down ...

Hopefully, it is not high on melafix. Melafix works like PCP on some loaches and may even kill.

Regardless, don't touch it. It is going to make it more nervous.
Two things that may help:
1. Good water change -- especially if you have lots of melafix in it.

My weather loach must be messed up. It's trying to kill itself by slamming into the wall, jumping and hitting the tank top, and swimming into the wall. It is barely alive, and it only swims it bursts of freak-outs. Everytime it flips over, I move his tail some and he freaks out and jumps all over ...
