I have two specimans that I believe are G. scitulus in addition to my ctenocephalus. Another characteristic I have noticed on scitulus is a small amount of red on the tip of the tail of some individuals. Has anyone else noticed this?

From my limited obeservation, smaller Gastromyzon (G. ctenocephalus / G. scitulus :?: ) have less coloration at their fins than bigger fishes, at caudal fin the smaller fish not just have smaller amount of red/orange color of its caudal, but also have bigger amount of colorless ? of the tip of its caudal fin.
