Hi all, does anyone have info or photographs on S. chapaensis? Uncle Ned's might be getting some in next week and maybe I will pick some up but wanted to see what they look like and know about their temperment before hand. Couldnt find anything in the species index.

wow sounds cool. Yea they look quite stunning. Hopefully I can pick up a good number of these guys to go along with my B. caudipunctata and a nice school of B. histrionica. Ned's is also selling some Sewellia lineolata..if only I had a river tank!!!!

I've had Schistura cf chapaensis in for a few weeks now. These are big chunky Schistura (4") and are fiercely territorial. All the pics I've managed so far are not the best, but I'll double check what I've got. They are stunning fish, just pretty nasty to one another.

Here you go.

As I said, not the best pics - I hadn't got around to putting them into my photo tank as yet, and in the stock tank they tend to disappear under the bogwood when they see me approching with my camera (and refuse to come out again unless I go away.....). The camera hasn't picked it up, but they do show a sort of bluish sheen over the body in certain lights:
