I'm upgrading my Hillstream loach tank

My current tank has only been set up a matter of weeks but I've never been 100% happy with it.

It was an existing tank of mine, and a bit small at 30"longx18"highx15"wide.I couldn't fit a manifold in it and I always thought it looked a mess although the fish seem to be perfectly happy.

Anyway,my hubby gave in and made me a new tank this week to fit on top of an oak unit we have.

So my new set up will be 38" long,20" wide and 15" deep and as you can see on the photo he's made me a manifold too.Still not the 4 footer I'd have liked but never mind

Brace yourselves, here comes an empty tank photo (oh the excitement  )

I'm having a luminaire unit for lighting so I should get lots of algae, and I'll be using an existing filter from one of my other setups.

BTW,I've heard some good news about the cabinet for my 8 footer,it's just having it's final polish and it'll be ready for on-site assembly next weekend.I've been waiting since October,I can't believe it's finally going to be here.Just got to arrange a time and date now,and then nag hubby to get the tank built lol!

Beautiful setup. I like all of the rocks (and the well hidden flower pots).
