Beautiful pics.

Are these being lit only by the tank lights and by the in-built camera flash, Martin? I think the lighting is fantastic on some of these shots and shows great detail without being overwhelmingly bright and washed out. I think the
Gastro in the first pic is my favourite there.

It's the in-built flash Em. I've been told by the experts on the Aquarium Photography site that these can be diffused by tissue paper but these shots are bone stock.
I used Tv mode (shutter speed priority) set at 1/2500 sec with the exposure compensation on -0.5 to -1. Metering was on Spot (i.e. on the subject) and the focus was Automatic. I've never used Manual focus on
any picture I've taken. Camera was in Macro mode of course.
To give an idea of how these pics are edited, the fish in pic #7 in this thread. is cropped from a pic like #1. One advantage of 10.1 Mp.
Martin.

Thanks Martin.

I take all mine in manual mode and once I found some settings I liked, I have kept them the same for some years. Must have a fiddle around when I find the time. You must be pretty pleased with that camera.
