hey everyone, anyone from the north new jersey area? need advice about local fish stores where i might find good aquarium supplies..

i am from northern new jersey.

Absolutely Fish in Clifton, New Jersey has a great reputation. It has a HUGE selection of fish and a pretty good staff. Even if you are not going to buy, it is great to look around in this store.

I also really like The Fish Tank in Saddle Brook, New Jersey.

You can't go wrong in either of these places.

Shark Aquarium in Hillside is great for wild caught stuff. Pet shanty in Scotch Plains(i think thats the name) Is good also. Lot of odd ball type stuff.

My mother grew up in Bergen County... in my visits up there I've come across Fish Town USA in Ramsey, pretty good place. I've heard rumors of some shark place but never found it.
