Skunks + Dwarf puffer?

Hi!
This might be a stupid question, but thats how one learns, right?

I made an initial mistake of adding 5 skunks to my first ever loach tank. They seem to be very happy but my clowns and Yo-yo`s doesn`t share that opinion. I am moving these into a bigger tank in about two weeks. I plan to leave the Skunks in the original tank. I was wondering if the skunks could go well with a dwarf-puffer? The skunks are feisty little creatures but so is the dwarf-puffer (occationally, at least). Anyone who knows if this will work?

Kind regards
Marius

This is a very big risk. Either the puffers nibble the loaches' fins or the skunks nibble them to death.:?

My money's on the skunks in that fight, but yes, you'd definitely set up a lose/lose and VERY stressful situation there.

No questions are stupid, BTW

I had dwarf puffers with three Skunks for about a year with no problems, but I wouldn't recommend it. They ignored each other. No chasing, no biting, but I think I have some weird fish. I have made a few compatibility mistakes with no bad consequences, but I wouldn't push it. It is a well planted, lots of hidey holes tank.

My skunks live with 4 hatchets and 4 Silver tip tetras (I think? Sold as gold tetras), and they really are in beautiful condition, happy healthy fish. My skunks stay close to the bottom and the hatchets and tetras stay near the top.

I am very lucky.

Always fanied keeping a few dwarf puffers [Travancoricas] some say they are peacful others say they are feisty ? i suspect the Puffers are best kept in a species tank ?
Skunks are deffinitely on the feisty side ! i have a few but keep them with other feisty fish, Syncrossus's and some big barbs with attitude , and although smaller they are spunky little characters !

I think that's the mystery of the Dwarf Puffers. Aggressive or nice? I have had up to five at one time. I never had any problems with them. No aggression at all. Mine caused absolutely no problems. I had them with guppies, and I never had a scuffle. I was happy and surprised. Unfortunately, they don't live very long. Right now, I have no puffers, because I want a species tank for them.
