I've just added Mad Duff's article on spawning his dwarf chain loaches (Y. sidthimunki) to the main site: http://www.loaches.com/articles/yasuhik ... ng-success

Hope you enjoy reading it! :D

Thank for sharing! Thats great news. This means we are one step closer to tank breading loaches instead of takeing them from the wild.as you know Emma that is my dream and I think a lot of others on here feel the same way.

WAY TO GO Duff!!! And congrats

Nice read.

in the nearby future i,m planning on giving the sidth,s their own tank.
What would you guys consider a good tankmate for a shoal of around 30
(3ft vision 180) that won,t eat the eggs ? (or atleast not too many)

Emma, doesn't this article need editing on the Breeding slot?

Thanks for the reminder, Blue. :) I had linked from the article to the species profile but not the other way round. I've now amended the profile so that the breeding slot has a link to Mad Duff's article.

Hi all,

I was wondering if there has been any breeding updates with this species. Has Mark been able to continue breeding his loaches or was it a one of situation? Anyone else been successful?

I keep 25 of these little munkies, slowly building up thier number since August last year.
