I bought the Macrobrachium as glass shrimp from Maidenhead Aquatics in Ashton, and was told that they wouldn't get any larger than cherry shrimp...

They are now becoming monsters, but i'm not sure if i can return them for being miss sold them?

Anyway the Hillstream loach don't mind them and they aren't (yet) bothering the other fish.

I haven't any S. lineolata to compare, so I don't know how they do it.

the dither fishes are Microrasbora kubotai, they really seem to enjoy the stronger current.
I have seen 1 larva which was already about 12mm, so it is probably 1-2 weeks old. There should be more but will take their time to really show themselves. I seperated some eggs (the spawning took place 2 days ago in the evening) into a small container. They are very small, so I gave up seperating them and removed the whole bunch of moss/algea and put this in a breeding container (one like to hang into the main tank likethis).

I hope I can raise them successfully!

Thanks for the extra information. Good to know that this Microrasbora likes the current. I am thinking of a smaller hillstream tank (that is, smaller than my hillstream paludarium) for breeding Gastromyzons or Sewellias.
It is nice to have a by-fish that probably no problem for the young.

Two of my Dario loaches fight for leading position in the pack...this would be a regular footage except to the fact that one of them was swiming upside down!

First I read Dojo loach, and I couldn't imagine Dojos having a dominance fight. Mine are too laid back!

Then I realized it was Darios, and I think the video is hilarious, because the clown stays in the center the entire time. The Red Tail and Yoyos stay on the sidelines to see what happens.

Our biggest clown have found a new way of getting more food. I don't know if this is common or not, but it's pretty cute! His hiding spot is at the edge of the root were there's a hole, and during feeding he darts out and grabs a tablet in his mouth and darts back in to the root. This is repeted until there's a small food-stash which he then devours.

And yeah, it's me playing guitar. I SUCK at soloing/leads, but my girlfriend (for some reason) thought that it'd be good background music, so without my permission she used that audio. I hope she burns in hell.

That is absolutely one of the coolest things I have ever seen. I have never had any fish, much less a loach, do that. Mine steal one piece and go off to eat it, but I have never seen one go back for more. Amazing! Beautiful tank and nice fish. I loved seeing him steal the food from under the catfish.
