Aggressive CL?

I have a clown (about 7") that is always causing trouble. At first I thought that it was just the other bigger loaches in a struggle for domincance, but I've seen him pick on the 4 inchers too. Any suggestions on how to lower aggression?

Hi, could you tell us more about your set up such as size of tank, number of clowns, what type of decor you have etc. One of my larger clowns used to have a bit of an attitude problem, but she was put in her place when we rehomed two that were bigger than her.

It's the largest clown in a group of 8 in my 100G. I'm going to move them to a 130G in about a week. There is a castle, a log, and some PVC pipe for them to hide under.

This picture was before I got the 3 biggest loaches. I have rearranged some of the decor, but it's basically all of the same things.

Do you realize how large those Balas are going to become? They're going to outgrow your tanks eventually.

Alright, I'll do that in the new tank.

I will deal with that situation on my own. For right now, this thread (and the forum) is on the loaches.

I don't see the loach....
I see the Leparinus, but no clown loach.
What's the shiny-eye'd little character to the far right?

Senegal bichir. I'm not mistaken with the body shape.
The loaches may be hiding inside decors which explains their absence.

i would say more stuff too. more of the tubing and bigger too - if it is 7" i dont think it would fit in what you have there.
