Yoyo Loaches and Shrimp?

I picked up a yoyo loach the other day (only one left at my LFS) and after doing some reading here I'm going to pick up a few buddies for him. However I would (if possible) like to have some shrimp in my tank and was wondering if anyone had any success keeping shrimp with these guys and if so what kind.

Thanks :)

I have ghost shrimps with yoyos. They dont bother each other. But I think there wont be much of any chances of shrimps breeding. Im not sure of much smaller shrimps like the cherrys. But looking at normal behavior of yoyos, im tempted at trying it.

Thats the first thing that popped into my head... not a chance I would be willing to tank anyway-it will only take a taste of one shrimp for them to start picking the off.

I had a ghost shrimp last about two months in one of my tanks.
The other shrimp didn't last a day.
SEARCH AND DESTROY!

Forget it.
While the odd Yoyo might leave shrimp alone, this is not normal for them.
If you want to try, get the cheapest (Ghosts, usually) and if they live, then try whichever you want.
My money is on the Yoyos.

Hey,
In my 55 gal (with a 20gal connected via a bridge) I have 9 yo-yos and tiger barbs. I started adding ghost shrimp. When th ebarbs were younger, they would eat them pretty quickly. Now (barbs are ~2 years old) they dont seem as interested in the live shrimp. I have another tank that is overrun with red cherry shrimp, so I tossed a dozen or so in the yo-yo tank... and
now there are quite a few cherry shrimp in there (dozens)! So, yes I've had great success! Noone is more surprised than me by this.

I've also had a Atya gabonensis in there for nearly a year and no-one bothers him. (He's ~3" long).

WE both would have lost money on that bet. :P
