Right- tinned salmon, trial #06.

The cheeper stuff comes with a good amount of skin and vertebra in it, which one picks out. A pinch of this leftover mess in the tank has sent everyone bat-%$$%#. The vertebra sit until the end, then the loaches, Synodontis and plecos come right out front, comfy as, and much them to nothing. Like a puppy with a good shoe, or (for the Canadians) a bear in the BBQ lava-rocks.
The salmon's quite fatty/oily, so only for treats, but man.... very popular. I'm sure it'll keep their coats bright and shiny :)

Actually, if i had a pet/fish shop, i'd be calling the local fish farm, market or packing plant for these disarticulated vertebrae to dry, pack and sell as cat and loach chew-toys.
An idea.
10% is all i ask....

Sounds like a great idea Andy, all the Calcium and Omega oils would be good for any fish I would imagine.
Thanks for the tip. Cheers Graeme,

Sounds very healthy - but messy. Could be a tank fouler.

i've fed mine on halibut with it being a meaty fish they love to rip it apart and another fish i've tried is monkfish as it smells and tastes very similar to prawn.
