Thanks MD!
These are wonderful fish. They really add a lot of activity to the tank. Great fun to watch!

superb Keith, i'm another big fan of kubotai, for looks they have to be one of the most elegant of the botia if not THE most elegant.

yup i've gotta agree on that mate, but i find it's only with the sub-adults and juveniles.
my big kubs are fairly placid.

Beautiful! I think kubs are strikingly beautiful. Nice rainbow fish, too.

Thanks Sea Sprite! I'm glad I went for the Kubs, they have settled in well - doing great.

Thank ya much Helen,
I'm quite fond of my new Kubs - interesting behavior, spunky like botia, like to hang out and pose like the serpentine types. Very nice fish!
These were obtained from a LFS, although I would like to give your new method a shot. Memorial Day here in the states and I'm off to a BBQ myself.
You bet I'm going to have my eyes out for any unwanted loaches! Plus I would never want to prevent a man from returning to his "inner guppy"

good luck at the BBQ

but even if you are not kucky, have a good time. i have been waiting several years for my luck to come around, but it can be very well worth you persuading people guppies are the way to go

failing that mate, hide a big net and some heavyduty bags an go fishin mate while they're all enjoying the BBQ.
