I posted this in the welcome thread but I wanted to add to it.

I finally joined. Wanted to say hello. I have been lurking for 2 or 3 years. When I got into the hobby I said I didnt want loaches. Mostly because people say they are to hard or get sick to easy. I picked up 2 yoyo's after reading this site a some. 2 became more more more.

And I am happy that you have all been there even tho you didn't know you have been halping me out.

I can not express to you all how much I owe you. My loaches have broght all kinds of joy and really help me relax.

A few time I have read the forum everyday for 3 months. When I finally got into loaches i read everyday for over 6 months. So I feel like I am part of the group but you have not known me.

I have to say:
Emma its great to see all the odd fish you can get but man its tough not being able to get them.

Keith Wolcott I follwed you tank build thread and I am dreaming of the day i get to put one together.

Marcos Mataratzis love seeing your pics. I have a good mix in my tanks also.

chefkeith I enjoys the threads on your tanks also. I thing you had/hane a 200ish gallon that is circular flow around a driftwood center. Liked that idea.

Martin Thoene I have yet to make up the food you posted about but would like to at some point. I also enjoy reading your post.

Many others I know I am forgetting. I wanted to say thanks to all that took part in the book yes I have it and have read it a couple times.

Ok now to my loaches:
1 Acantopsis choirorhynchus
10 Botia almorhae
7 Botia kubotai
10 Botia striata
3 Chromobotia macracanthus - all under 3"
12 kuhlii (its a mix of 2 or 3 of the striped spec)
2 Sinibotia robusta
1 Sinogastromyzon wui
1 Yasuhikotakia morleti - keeps to himself for the last years
14 Yasuhikotakia sidthimunki
Rought numbers on the larger counts. tough to count hiding and darting around

Had more of some above and have lost them to ick, skinny (to far gone couldnt save), filters and jumping out
also had and have list for the same reasons the following
Nemacheilus fasciatus
Botia histrionica - swam into the out port of a aquaclear 70
Sewellia lineolata

Welcome! You have quite a nice collection of loaches. Now of course we all want to see pictures!

Welcome HS, You have been lurking far too long and should have joined in earlier. You have a nice selection of loaches and can only suggest a few friends for your Horseface.

I would like to post some but I dont have any recent ones. Also I dont have a photo bucket account or anything like that. I have a web site that I will be putting up at somepoint and will post some pics once I get it up.

I know all my fish are not in the ideal housings but I know I am giving them a great home.

We are planning on moving in the next year or so. SWMBO has ginen me the ok to set up a fish room. So we are now looing into homes with a nice basement. I have hopes of getting to about 1200 gallons with a 300 gallon centerpiece with full walk around access. The rest will be 150/180 area with water bridges. I plan on getting those used. The 300 will be new most likely.

Photobucket is free and easy. Takes five minutes. We're a nosey bunch.

You can also use Facebook. That is what I do

I know there are free ways but I am more of a private person and bon't like the idea of having to much of my info/stuff on the web. That is why it took me 3 years to join. Having the pics on my own site gives me more control. Also I dont have a photo program right now. I want to watermark or tag my photos to try and avoid my photos being used in sales or someone claiming it is their fish. I know there was a thread about some of the pics on here being use on the "sales sites"

Where are you in NH and where do you get your fish???

We're across the river in VT... latest additions from St J., but looking for better fish store than W. Leb!!!!

We started with one lonely Kubotai a little over (?) a month ago, and our loach population is growing rapidly!!!! Sigh...

That is a great loach collection. Can't wait to see some pictures.
