New camera loach pics

I got a Nikon D90 off the wife for Christmas :D , I am waiting for a couple of new lenses to arrive but have been playing around with the basic lens that came with the camera.

Here are a few loachy shots:

These are very nice. I've got to experiment with my white-balance controls some more. Your pictures look very natural.

Cheers Martin, I have the white-balance set on auto for now but I have been playing with the ISO and took these set on 800 :)

Just keep clicking MD. Beautiful snaps and plumpy fishes! :D
Just a tip, F8 with a fast shutter @ ISO 350 is a sweet spot of the cam with that lens for fish! :wink:

Very Nice pictures MD. I am very impressed of the quality of the D90 at ISO 800, I see no noise. Very cool!!

Nice upgrade Mark - What lenses do you have coming??? A 60mm and a 105mm Micro I guess. I have the 60mm and just love it and it can be used for much more than close-ups. You will be needing a flash as well so the SB900 will be next on your wish-list - just love mine.

I already have the 105 so am have got the 60mm and Nikon AF 50mm f/1.8D, I have just got myself two SB600's as well :)
