Mines around 6.5". And just wondering how big other clown loach owners are?

My alpha is between 8.5-9", but there are people on here with larger fish than that.

Mine are young and small at 5-6 inches.

My largest is around 6" (TL) in a group of 6.

I visited a friend, who has very recently bought a group of mature clowns. Her clowns were put in her tank a day before I took the following pictures for her, so that's why they are still in faint color. Her largest one, surely measures over 9" TL.

My biggest is probably only about 7.5" It is the Alpha in a group of 16. the next largest is only 4.5" though.

Nice big old loach!

I had 2 big guys at 11.5"-12.5" The the biggest now are 5.5-6" and smaller

my biggest are 2 at 4.5 and 1 at 5", but they will be going to a buddy of mine who has a 240 gallon. I'm hoping to add more small 2-3 inchers to grow out. seeing BIG loaches inspires me to grow mine out. I have a school of 24 right now.

here some of mine, trying to measure them. Somehow the camera does make the scale appear bigger and the fish smaller? hmmm, thought they were larger when checking with the scale

#4 on the right and one of the former babies on the left which is almost 3 years younger

I started with my 6' x 18" x 18" and have 6 Clown Loaches 15 years old.

My largest two are 6" and I presume female. The other four are 4.5" and I presume male.

The largest two have always been the largest and have always got along.

These are a few of my big clown, not very good picture quality though.
