Clowns, do they ever stop eating?

Having inherited a tank with 3 clowns in, I can't help but notice that they are always eating given the opportunity.
My father in law passed away & we have to sell his house. He has 3 tanks & we have decided to keep the biggest with the clowns in. I am concerned that I am not feeding them enough. At the moment, the tank has quite a large plec in (a common or pardalis I think), 4 Angel fish & the 3 clowns.
I am feeding them Hikari sinking wafers (they are about 1cm in diameter), bloodworm, frozen brineshrimp, flakes & assorted veg & fruit.
The clowns are about 6" long in total & my wife says that they are about 3 years old as far as she can recall.
How much should I feed them & is once a day sufficient?
