I've got 2 of these gobies and I'm not sure which type they are. I'm guessing they're both females because their colours aren't bright. I'm not sure if they're stiphodons because they've never grazed on algae to my knowledge. So I'm guessing they're lentipes or sicyopus or something like that.

Surely do not look like stiphodons, so feed them with bloodworms and live food rather then algae.

As for what they are: well, photos are awful, so take decent ones and post in one of the goby groups.... but keep in mind that females are hard to id even with good photos.

I've been feeding them both bloodworms and algae wafers. Sorry about the photos but these are the best I got because they move around loads lol.

You can use a net to catch a fish.... don't remove it from the tank, simply hold the net next to the glass and you can take photos with the other hand.

Most gobys are carnivores and would not be even interested in algae wafer... but most frozen meaty food (shrimp, daphnia, not just worms) is taken.
