Another new addtion as of last Tuesday were these lovely loaches, which came in from a reputable source as wild-caught Schistura obeini.....

The photos don't do them proper justice, as they have a lovely yellowy glow about them. I'd say they were 6-7cm TL.

I wonder if these are like my Schistura spilota in temperament. Large chunky looking specimens with a large appetite yet peaceful once fed well.

I'll keep a eye on them and let you know. This one certainly ate all the pies :

Not sure if I will be able to make it any earlier Graeme, I havnt managed to set the tank up that I got off you that my Sid's are going in and the 4' tank that I was getting to put my Dario's and Kubotai's in hasnt materialised. I was hoping to have had them up and running by now so that I could sort out my river tank to hopefully get a couple of Sewellia's or Gastromyzon's.

Its not a problem though, if you want to go through early feel free at this rate I will be lucky to have the tanks sorted this side of christmas .
