I currently have 1 dojo, wondering if i should get another... are they okay on their own? the tank is not very large, however it is triple filtered, so he/she should be alright... any suggestions. there isn't a lot anywhere on this species.

Have you looked here?

The old species index can be accessed by clicking the link to "Loaches Online" at the top of each forum page.

They are social fish and love the company of their own kind.
Soon there will be a better profile.

id this the fifteen gallon tank? :
GOLDFISH TANK-
3 fantail goldfish (1 orange and 2 calico), 1 dojo, 2 corydoras and 1 dwarf gourami.
because if so, you're massively overstocked... your filters might cope, but it's physically too small for one dojo. they need space. It's usually recommended that you have a minimum of ten gallons per goldfish, too.
I've got cories and a dwarf gourami in a little tank, but it's heated. You goldfsih and the dojo need a lot lot more room...
sorry to be the bearer of bad news

We had a humungous thunderstorm this morning. Later, at Superpet I saw some small Dojos going absolutely bananas all over the tank. Certainly are weatherfish!

no.. the goldfish tank is about 30gal (15gal footprint) if that makes sense...it's taller than it is long

So in that case it's unsuitable anyway. Loaches particularly need floor space. All fish need surface area for gaseous exchange, and these tall tanks don't provide it.
Even if your tank were effectively layed on its side to give a much larger surface area 30 gallons that way still wouldn't be big enough for these fish you own now, let alone extra Dojos.
I wouldn't keep 3 Dojos by themselves in a 30 Breeder. They need far more room.

Dojo's do enjoy company and they also love swimming in a horizontal direction so i'd recommend at least a 4' long tank. Mines 4' long and that still seems a little short to me as they are constantly running into the ends.
