Yes, what a good deal! Why were they liquidating these for so cheap? hmm.. they seem very healthy, good colors, good fin condition...
What kind of gravel/sand are you using for these little guys?

Ya really, that is quite cheap- and they look like they're in good condition too... I guess they didn't know what they were really worth?

Quite cheap?
At current exchange rates, they were

$3.38 each
You know that's before tax in Ontario....and you know the current price is almost $6 here before the 14% goes on.
The price will include tax in England, so it's not "quite cheap", it's a steal.
Mark Duff you are a scoundrel and a bounder Sir and I congratulate you on your purchase/steal/blag.
Nice lil fishies you got there
Martin.

The particular shop has a knack of getting fish in and selling them on at little more than they come in at, I have had some real bargains from them in the past. As soon as I saw them they stood out because every other batch of Striatas in all the other local shops are shockingly skinny

.
They are in with my B. Rostrata and B. Dario at the moment and their tank has quite fine gravel.
