i have been spending about 2 hours a day just looking at my tank
its a 180 gal with alot of fish
7clowns 7-2inches
11skunks 1.5-2 inches
9yo-yos 2+inches
11 seperta tetras
7 black neons
4platinum mollys
4blue guramis
2 black/white anglefish
7cherry barbs
9 giant danios
2 gibby plecos 6inches
anyways
ive had the clowns for about 1 year
and they used to be in a 75 with black gravel
since the move to the 180 they now have sand
and ive noticed there whiskers are alot more noticable
i think that those whiskers are amazing
how they feel around with them and find food and such
i dunno why all of a sudden this paticular part of these fish has captured my intrest
but i find myself watching just there mouths alot more
anyone else fasinated by this or and im just way to stoned all the time?????

watch it.
first you get a few loaches
then a few more
so then you get a few tanks
then a few more
it is a slippery slope

hemi have you seen yours appear to yawn and belch? that is quite amusing sometimes.
once you get into loaches you seem to stop being normal and start being interested in al sorts of wierd things.
dont some loaches have less barbels?

... I´m also completely loached!
I´m still mad that I didn´t get 4 Homaloptera, as they are really rare in Munich... I hesitated, as my tank is already quite busy... now I regret ...
well there will be a bigger tank...
Wolfram
Something really funny...

my 3 clown loaches yawn quite often and its funny watching them do that as their barbels lift up and u can see this white part of their mouthes.
i'm glad i'm not the only one fascinated by these orange and black striped creatures. my family thinks i'm mad being so lol

I watch mine almost nightly for a while at least
I have 11 of them and they all have slightly different personalities. Seeing a "shy" one try to decide to come forward....it's like you can watch the dilema on it's face...."should I

Oh no, I'm scared

Well, the others are going

Maybe I'll give it a try.....ooops, that's far enough"
I love my clowns, in case you can't tell
