Hello to all and excuse my poor english.I've 4 Chromobotias(from 4 or 5 years) in a 312 L tank,they live with a 2 P.scalare,3 G.incissus,1 Gyrynocheillus,and other little fishes.I want to imitate the real habitat of the cromobotia but i dont know how it is.Anybody's got a link or underwater pics?I know the plants of their habitat and,more or less,the water parameters,but no more.From now very thanx.

Hi Loachapowa. As Far as I'm aware, Ola's is the only site that has such pictures, but you're more interested in underwater shots right?
The fact is that many natural habitats are not really 'doable' in the confines of a small aquarium, or you would only be able to condense certain features inyo the tank and therefore it would not exactly be 'real'.

Written mainly in Thai, so a lot of stiff you'll have to find by trial and error, it feature's Nonn's awesome photos and will probably make you want to visit. He did recently post a picture of Botia kubotai in its natural habitat if you check back down the forum.

Thanx for the info and links Martin.My idea its,like you say,to condesnse certain features,but searching for esthetic,and make it more confortable for the clowns.For example the size of gravel (actually my gravel its abut 3/5 mm),and the strenght of water flow.Actually my tank isn't small it measures 150 cm of lenght by 50 height and 45 deep resulting in 312 liters,but in a future I have thought to buy one greater about 450/500 liters.
