My biggest Loach has Ick! :(

I was just looking at my fish and I noticed some very small white spots on my biggest Clown Loach. He's in there with 3 others , 7 gorgeous Silver Dollars and a Pictus Cat. The one Clown is the only one showing any sign of Ick. I was hoping it was just some air bubbles but it's not it's my worst nightmare. :x
I just read Stickies thread "Dealing with Ick" . So do I have to medicate the entire community or can I take everybody else out and treat the infected one and the tank alone?
Well, I'm off to do a 50% water change. Wish me luck.

i noticed ich on my loaches. i treated the entire tank with a 50% recommended dose. 50% water change, raise the temp to 82 degrees. emma suggested to me not to chase the loach and try and remove them due to over stressing the loaches. i did this and 4 days later the spots were gone. i treated the tank 3 doses after that. each dose after 48 hours. no ich. i lowered the temp after that but the loaches seemed to like the 82 degrees so once i raised the temp back they are more energetic and playful. if the ich is in the tank. you want to treat the entire tank.

Thanks LoachOrgy, I just finished the 50% change and my wife is on her way home with the meds. I feel so bad to have to put the entire tank thru the trauma but I guess you just gotta do what you gotta do when the Ick hits. I havn't had an Ick episode in seriously about 12 years. and I lost that battle.
This is so depressing. I love my fish ,I can't even believe this is happening. my poor fish ,my poor fish I'm am so pissed, this sucks.
I'm sorry for sounding like a little bitch but this really bumms me out
Thanks for your reply

be strong you will survive! i was very worried as well. i have only had ich two times in over 7 years myself. generally when i added a new fish. but when i saw the loaches covered in it, i was panicking!
