Is this loach pregnent

As above, i notice it today when i was doing a water change. it had disappeared for days and i saw it today like this, my other two are normal size. So is it Pregnent or just fat?????
Sorry for the bad pics but they were took off my phone.

Looks like a Chinese Algae Eater, I have one that looks identical in colour.

And not 'pregnant' either. By definition, pregnancy means that the mother is carrying live young internally. Loaches and "Sucking Loaches" are egg-layers. They can be fat from carrying eggs and the correct term is then 'gravid'.

Talking of 'fat' Sucking Loaches, there are some awful 'balloon' varieties of this species being produced lately.

That's nasty. I hate seeing "balloon" mollies. They look miserable to me.

thanks for all the replies. This fatness has only jsut appeared, when i purchased them they all were slim and the same size but this one has just gone like it is now in the pic.
I now know that this not classed as a loach.

Yeah they were taken off my Sony Ericsson K750i. Its abit old but a good phone.

I was thinking that, he/she must of just had a good meal

o determine if your loach is pregnant, observe the following signs:
Swollen Belly: Female loaches develop a noticeably rounder belly if carrying eggs.
Increased Activity: Pregnant loaches may become more active or hide frequently.
Male Interaction: Males may follow or nudge a gravid female.
