Hi,
Is this one possibly pregnant or have I done something wrong?
Also is my ID right?
Thanks
Craig

Looks heavily gravid to me but I don't think that is
Acanthocobitis zonalternans, there are subtle colour differences but I don't think
A. zonalternans have such a pronounced fork in the tail (but I am no expert).
I know Graeme has some of these so I am sure he will know for certain

Thanks Mad Duff!
Wasn't sure myself. The pet store didn't even have the faintest idea when I bought them!

Looks like it may be Nemacheilus masyai or pallidus.

Based on the saddle stripes being wider than the interspaces I would say
N. masyai.
