I am in Dallas/Ft. Worth Area. Anyone have any Levamisole Hydrochloride?

Looks like I have a skinny fish, very thin......

this may be what happened to Baby too. Worms.

I am calling some vets tomorrow.

Levamisole would be good..but there are other types that will cure skinny problem.

Go to any feed/seed store and they will have it. just ask for pig dewormer

Feed stores carry it. Mine is labeled for sheep.

Try Jungles anti-parisite fish food. Very simple and worked for me. You feed it for three days ,then the regular food for four several times per bottle instructions. This can be done in your tank without a QT setup or the 90%water change required after the 24 hour Levamisal bath

Tinman, this one kiddo is very sick........ and I have piggy cory cats in my tank, big ones, and the clowns are holed out in their cave and don't come out to eat much since I scared then in trying to catch them.....so the cory cats would over dose on the parasite food, while the clowns wouldn't get any......

I need to treat the water at this point.

Man this stuff you cannot find locally here.......another name for it though is Tramizol or Tramisol, checking that.

Vets say just no pigs so they don't use it.

I didn't have much luck with this food. I couldn't be sure that the sick guys were eating and that the piggy fish weren't getting too much. Also, the food was too big for some of my smaller guys.

Found the pills at a local feed store. ugh & yea! .....now I have to figure out how to do the pills instead of the powder.

Found the powder! got the pills first then went for the powder at tractor supply even though I called them and they said they didn't have it.

The pills have to have fillers. .184 each of LH and they are HUGE. When I saw the powder I had to get it instead. PURE LH, even though the man at the feed store told me the pills were only LH too. I should have read the bottle myself.

I am so happy my kiddos are on the way to recovery. Actually, this is like giving a dog heartworm medicine that has heartworms. It starts killing the worms and the dogs expell them, and can have a clot etc. If the dog has a heavy burden of heartworms, and the killoff rate is swift, the shock of all that happening can kill the dog. Very dangerous! With heavy burdens, they most often do it twice in smaller doses. A month a part.

Scarey. This poor skinny loach .......... fingers and toes crossed. He comes out (not shy so much) and eats and eats the blood worms and other stuff and gets skinnier.
