The relationships of the
cobitoid loaches have been examined in a recent study and the familial placement of the genera
Barbucca,
Serpenticobitis and
Vaillantella have been reassigned.

Yes thanks, we moderators know. Mark and I recently spent about 5 hours on the phone between Toronto and Vancouver editing a whole book to show the new nomenclature
Bit by bit we'll change anything that needs changing on LOL itself.
