Yeah, I just can't ID it correctly...

Went to Petsmart today and found bunch of Pangio oblonga and this little chap was in there - a contaminant.

I'm pretty sure it's a Nemachelius ornatus:

Pardon me for such low quality pictures.... I'll attempt to take more pictures what he/she has settled down.

Nice loach. It may be easier to identify if it colors up better.

I wouldn't say its a Nemachelius ornatus. The Nemachelius ornatus has a distinct skunk like stripe running down its body.

Perhaps a juvenile Nemacheilus masyai or a Nemacheilus pallidus.
