I also picked up a group of 4 melanotaenia maccullochi yesterday, I went back to the shop this morning and picked up another 8

14 loach species bred, which will be next?

The two most commonly seen species used to be Bedotia geayi and Bedotia tricolor, as I understand it now B. tricolor and B. longianalis are now classed as Bedotia geayi.
Occasionally Bedotia madagascariensis showed up as contaminants but very very rarely but this fish is now probably the most common fish and seems to be the fish commonly thought of as B. geayi
I would love to have Bedotia marojejy and Bedotia sp. “Lazana”, my idea is to set up another tank and have ideally 3 species in separate tanks
