Heiko Bleher's discovery of a possible new fish species adapted to live only in a waterfall in the upper Apaporis, Colombia December 2009
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_0BxE4F2Lls

Reminds me of a hillstream loach, maybe a goby ?

Heiko is still a pretty agile person at 65 years of age

I met him at the Canadian Association of Aquarium Clubs convention in London Ontario in May 2009.
He has an incredible knowledge of fish and their biotopes, has published many books and he has introduced many fish to the hobby :D

They certainly do look like hillstreams.
Very cool looking fish!

Looks like a specialised Characidium sp. to me.

Lovely fish :)

Looking at the mouth I would hazard a guess that it will end classified as or related to the Crenuchidae group of Characins.

Edit: great minds Bully
