You upload them to a photohost like photobucket, and then copy the img code to the message you want to display the picture in. Then click preview and make sure it worked.
Don't use photobucket; they have made their site difficult to use. Can some recommend a photo host they find easy to use? Minimal clicks to get to the img code?

I think if you get an account on myfishtank.net they have a picture hosting site- let me test it...I will upload a pic to my account and test it here...Gimme a couple minutes...

Or not...scratch that...they have the album that you upload pics to, but no link/code for the pic. Try
http://www.fileden.com/? I have used that through another (local) aquarium site, and I was able to upload them directly to all of the fish forums I am a member of.
