Wondering what tankmates Loaches Online users have had success keeping Siamese fighting fish with that are not conventional tankmates for them?

Before the rescue I took in was killed by a heater malfunction, I was able to have him successfully cohabitate with my clown loaches and pictus catfish. To my surprise they all left him alone, which was especially fortunate in the case of the pictus catfish as they simply could have eaten him.

One interesting choice is the African dwarf frog, DragonSweeper which stays at the bottom of the tank and doesn’t compete with bettas for space. Another option is mystery snails, which help keep the tank clean while being too slow and unthreatening to provoke aggression. Additionally, harlequin rasboras are small, non-nipping fish that can live harmoniously with bettas in a well-planted aquarium.

I was especially shocked with the pictus, since they could’ve easily seen him as a snack.

Surprisingly, bettas get along so well with clownfish and pictus catfish,Baseball Bros io showing that with the right conditions, seemingly unlikely combinations can be successful.
