I've had new clown loaches for 2 weeks and 2 days. They are ca 5-6 cm. Yesterday I noticed tiny white spot on forehead of one fish and today some of them scratch. No spots.
Is this ich? I haven't added new fish or plants nor feed live food during this time. How did they get infected? Why did this take somuch time? Are there any other reasons for scratching besides ich?
What is safe dose of Sera Costapur for clown loaches? Considering that I don't want to make the parasite immune dosing only partially.
Thank you in advance! I'm really scared, I'm talking about my 20 new loaches.....

This could well be Ich. It can come in with your new fish, hidden in the gills, and live a short while and you might miss seeing the parasites. Now there are more of them, and you can see them.

I do not see the Sera products here. What are the active ingredients?

Water changes also help with Ich, especially vacuuming the gravel to remove Ich that has fallen to the floor of the tank to reproduce.
