Well a week ago I posted a piv of my new little awefully skinny horsefaced loach.

He is really filling out already! I am so amazed as how well he is doing.

Sorry for the poor photo but he was sleeping in the corner when I took the first two photos, and then moving all around in the 3rd so it was hard to get a good shot.

Here is what he looked like a week ago, you can see the difference, or at least I can.

Very Nice Munkee! Horse face Loach really are intriguing. How many do you have? Do you need to keep them in groups?

Thank you everyone for the kind words. Hopefully I can get a better photo of him over the weekend.

Mick, he is really doing great. I too love the green sheen he has, it's irridecent (sp?) and changes from green to a blue in different lighting. Pretty neat.

Botia Robert, I only have one, the LFS only had the one so I grabbed him. He seems very happy by himself, I keep him with 6 B.Striata and they all get long well. From I can remember after reading about this fish, they are not a "social" loach and don't require more of the same kind, I could be wrong, so don't take my word.

I would strongly recommend this fish to others, he is a pleasure and does a great job turing my sand substrate as well. :D

Late this summer I'll be upgrading the tank to a 120G and adding some more smaller fish as well, over time. They are all currently housed in a 55G long.
