Nice fish Mick!

Aye, Pier is the place to go for something that little bit different.

Schistura sp. "crimson" - wow, great looking fish! And I'm loving that puntius sp. already! Beautiful dorsal! Sure it can only get better with a bit of TLC.

forgot the other loach i picked up, i know the thoughts are they should be left in the wild, but if there's a chance of breeding them, that's my aim.

Nice haul indeed! 8) Would love to know how you get on with the Crimsons, they are very aggressive in my experience.... :?

Once again, jealous of your new finned friends. Sure seems like England is the place to be for loaches.

yup he shown me the pics, a very good looking fish, there's a but coming mate,
i have 5 S rupecula in a 48x15x15 plenty of space to live in harmony you'd think.
a big wrong these are one nasty mf's, now if the alticristas are the same
they ain't for me. haha

as for the crimsons no worries there's 3 tanks with them in .
here's a tip on the first bank of tanks IMO are the best fish, but there's not much in it with any of them.

i'm not trying to rub salt in an open wound adam,
but there had to be more than 200 in that tank and some giants among them, i brought 4 of them home with me.

Is there any room for anything but tanks and fish in your house Mick? Boy oh boy, those are nice. I am green with envy!
Why does my aquarium always seem too small?

How many Batiks did you pick up? Not 20!

The photo of S. "crimson" is spectacular, by the way.
Your vantage point determines what you can see.
