Some pics from my parents loach tank

I just stumbled across these photographs I took back at the beginning of October when I gave my parents 4ft loach tank an overhaul. I'd totally forgotten I'd taken them:

This one is not the best shot but shows their elusive loach with weird markings (came in the same batch as all the other Histies):

If I remember rightly there are 6 B. histrionica and 6 B. striata. I hadn't taken any shots of the entire tank, but here are a couple of very short vids that show the Histies doing the loachy dance and exploring their new surroundings:

Nice and Healthy! :wink: The Histies apear to have some good size to them. How old do you reckon they are?

Robert - we've been trying to think how old those B. histrionica are, and seem to remember adding them as smallish 2" juveniles about 4 years ago.

Andy - that big-ish B. striata that is shown in this pic:

is indeed still in the tank.
I wasn't sure if it was shown in any of the above pics, so I'll show the main one again so we can compare:

The B. histrionica all somewhat dwarf the B. striata, but the Histies are on the large side!

EDIT: Going by the markings, and unless they have changed quite a bit, I think these show different fish.
