Help in Miami, with Dojo loaches!!!!

Post by leorock »

Hi:
I live in the Miami area, and I've been trying to buy a dojo or weather loach with no success at all, all the pet stores that I've checked don't have this kind of loaches for sale. I have a dojo that I bought 3 years ago in a Petsmart store in the Pembroke Pines area but it looks like they have been out of this fish for a long time because no one in the store knows this loach and I have the same situation in every store I ask.

Please people in the Miami area, where I can get a Dojo or Weather Loach in this area?

Can't help you in Miami, but in Tampa, you can get Dojos -- regular and gold in almost any store that sells fish.

I can't find any info that tells me that this loach is illegal in Florida. I thought the same thing but nothing comes online about this. At least 3 years ago it was legal because I got one in a pet store here in the area.
thanks for your reply

Finding Dojo's

In Ohio they seem to be seasonal like every thing else. You can get them in the spring, but not now.
Good Luck,
