Visit to Emma & Steve's Aquatic Store.

Firstly! I must say it was real pleasure to meet Emma & Steve. I had a lovely time "drooling" over all the superb array of Loaches. And the many other fish........oh so many!

Secondly! To actually see Emma & Steve's large clowns was amazing! I remember saying to Emma "i think i can see Marge" "oh no you haven't" replied Emma. Then right on cue came the shadow! Then came this "huge" fantastic looking Clown called Marge. I have to say i was "stunned" by her size and beauty! What a fantastic sight it was! I'm truly jealous.

On my visit, i did come home with some superb Loaches.

Yunnanilus brevis
Pangio doriae (pink)
Aborichthys elongatus
L. guntea (leucistic)
Y. nigrolineata
Nemacheilus sp.
Nemacheilus pallidus
Schistura nicholsi

They have all arrived in great health and now are "doing" dark time.

Brian at the shop thought it was very amusing that you seemed 'glued' to the Loach section all the time you were there! He said, 'did he actually see the rest of the shop?!!!'

Ahhh yeah! I was a bit "glued" to the loach section. I cant help it.

All fish are doing great. Those Sewellia's are something else. The Yunnanilus brevis's are now becoming more outgoing with "hovering" around the middle area's.

Well, she knows Graeme was watching her for a while, and I've told her that we're thinking of getting a 'Marge web-cam' at some point, so yes, I think she may suspect!!!

Thank you Daryl! That is actually quite an old picture of the 8ft tank, it looks even better now. Many more big mother-plants & large bogwood pieces - it's a real loachy haven! There are Clowns, Botia kubotai, Botia dario, Botia striata & Botia histrionica in there. One of the histrionicas is huge, as are a couple of the striatas. Will have to try and get some more up-to-date pics done.
